The prices of disposable e-cigarettes can go from 25–30 zł to 75–100 zł. According to a study by the Good Government Foundation, the increases caused social discontent, which translated into felt political consequences. The survey shows that the young electorate, among another things, became angry with Rafał Trzaskowski during the election campaign.
Did Rafał Trzaskowski scare off young voters?
The authors of the study indicate that people aged 18-29 represent about 15 percent of the electorate. On average, Rafał Trzaskowski enjoyed 20% of their support.
"The image of the Civic Platform as a youth group is the past. Donald Tusk's organization is considered by voters up to the age of 30 as a organization of demeanors and grandfathers" – we read in the study of the Good Government Foundation.
The second circular polls between Trzaskowski and Nawrocki showed a minimal advantage of Trzaskowski (48 percent vs 46 percent in February, 49 percent vs 47 percent in March), but among the young voters, Nawrocki consistently led (55 percent vs 45 percent in February, 57 percent vs 43 percent in March).
"Trzaskowski, despite attempts to build a message based on democratic values, failed to mobilise young people, resulting from the perception of his run as besides general and detached from the priorities of young people," the study states.
Impact on future voting

The excise work on liquids will grow avalanchely. From 0.96 PLN/ml from 1 July 2025, to 1.44 PLN/ml, to 1.80 PLN/ml in subsequent years.
