“In general, however, our happiness depends on wellness in the 9 tenths only. With him everything becomes a origin of delight; without him, however, you cannot delight in any external good, whatever kind; even another subjective goods, specified as the qualities of the mind, heart, temperament, lose value and waste themselves as a consequence of illness. For a reason, then, people ask each another first of all about wellness and health; for that is indeed the most crucial thing erstwhile it comes to human happiness. It follows, however, that the top folly is to sacrifice wellness for anything, for wealth, career, learning, fame, let alone pleasance and passing pleasures; on the contrary, everything must be subject to him," wrote Artur Schopenhauer in "Aphorisms about the wisdom of life."
Looking for the fact about my health, I came across a mysterious word a fewer months ago. autophagia. It comes from Greek, from words autos — alone and fagein — eat what we can translate as ‘self-eating’. What is the natural process of autophagia called autophagocytosis?
Simplifyingly, autophagia is simply a ‘pull’ that removes damaged or unnecessary components (waste) from the cells of our body (house). Autophagia is specified an ‘internal purification company’, in the form of an urban purification company (MPO). Autophagia prolongs life.
And at this point, it must be stressed that it is about more years of health, not more years of life spent on a wander from doctor to doctor, from pharmacy to pharmacy, from infirmary to hospital.
The Nobel Prize from Physiology and medicine for Autophagia investigation was awarded in 2016 to the cell biologist prof. Yoshinori Ohsumi of Tokyo Institute of Technology.
Cellular rejuvenation
Moving on, I read the book “ Cellular Rejuvenation. How to independently activate the regenerative possible of the organism based on the latest technological discoveries". Its author, Slaven Stekovic, is simply a molecular biologist. He has been researching wellness and ageing for respective years, including at the Institute of Molecular Bioscience at Karl Franzens University in Graz. He recommends a post as a catalyst for autophagia. At the same time, he puts the hypothesis that "better fast shorter but more often". Hence the advice to fast all another day. It suggests starting with 1 day of fasting per week and slow expanding the frequency.

“From time to time, doctors have recommended food breaks, which is inactive an effective means of combating any problems. But since technology has created fresh gods, and the pharmaceutical manufacture has invented fresh drugs, we've been pushing our food to the ground. We push each another up to our ears until our cells burst in the sutures. Modern man is practicing autophagia to a tiny extent, due to the fact that he inactive has access to food," Stekovic observes. And yet “In the beginning there was hunger”, as prof. Marek Konarzewski, president of the Polish Academy of Sciences, says in the title of his book, with whom I had the chance to talk in the Weekly of civilian Affairs. "(...) since for most of our evolutionary past we have not been able to constantly eat to the fullest, possibly we should see solutions to our wellness problems not so much in reducing the consumption of individual components of our diet, specified as fats or carbohydrates, but in calling for almost permanent fasting."
And another good remark, this time from Edward Miszurov-Rafalski, who writes in his book “Inner Nutrition”: (...) Regular interior nutrition cycles (OWs) are essential to reconstruct appropriate metabolism just as regular sleep is essential to regenerate the average functions of the tired brain and tense system. OW is simply a metabolic regeneration during which the body not only rests and self-regulates, but besides produces a fresh variety of metabolism, resulting in the elimination of diseases caused by mediocre nutrition.”
At this point, it is worth pointing out the difference between fasting and starvation. Post is simply a time erstwhile the body eats old, unnecessary cells, and hunger begins erstwhile the body eats young cells.
Today, food is at your fingertips: in the fridge, on the store shelf or on the Internet. To make this food healthy as in the Polish People's Republic. To make it even food! But no, present we have the Polish Modern Republic with non-food, most frequently junk – full of chemistry, sugars and antibiotics. We forgot about the post. The reasons I would look for in a large sense for myself, as most of our species has. We have discipline and technology. And we believe that they will heal us, so go to hell, there is no hell. As they are effective in (re)treating, everyone sees. Anyone who wants to see.
Interestingly, another species have not forgotten about the post. For example, Spider in our flat fell into a winter dream. He's been fasting for weeks due to the fact that there's no fridge under his "hand". He'll wake up erstwhile the flies show up to eat.

Spermidine – fasting without fasting
For those who do not want or cannot fast, there is an emergency exit. In this case, the mysterious word is spermidine. It's a natural substance that causes autophagia to purify our body cells. And that could slow down the aging process.
Slaven Stekovic devotes spermidine to the full chapter entitled "Post without a Post". The influence of the substance on longevity was discovered in 2009, after many years of research, by prof. Frank Madeo, a longtime mentor of the author of the book “ Cell Rejuvenation”.
The highest concentration of spermidine is found in the sperm fluid. Hence the name of the substance. Where else is it?
Stekovic answers: “The fires are a good clue. Especially the sidings that have penetrated the first line in our measurements. As much spermidine as is in them, we have not discovered in any another product."

Interrupted post 36/12
The catalyst for a stronger interest in the subject of autophagia was for me a slide from the presentation entitled “Is the aging of the brain irreversible?” by Prof. Ewa Sikora from the Institute of Experimental Biology of Marcel Nencki PAS in Warsaw.

In his speech prof. Sikora cites an article from “Nature” entitled “To preserve youth, kill zombie cells” (“This stay young, kill zombie cells”).
I began my conscious killing of zombie cells with a 36-hour post on December 22, 2023. I haven't eaten since 6:00 p.m. Thursday to 6:00 p.m. Saturday. At the time I only drank water and coffee (black). Interestingly, I didn't feel hungry. My tummy was rumbling, but I already knew that it was something to be happy about, due to the fact that that was the beginning of the autophagia process. From 6:00 to 6:00 on Saturday, I ate fat according to the doctrine thatThe fat diet is the healthiest.
I have a plan for 2024 so I'll fast all another day. Monday post, Tuesday food, Wednesday post, Thursday food, Friday post. Saturday food. Sunday fast. So 36 hours of fasting, 12 hours of eating, 36 hours of fasting, 12 hours of eating, etc. What will result? I'll let you know in a small while, if I persist. due to the fact that there's plenty of temptation, with a fridge on top. Jesus didn't have it in the desert. possibly that's why it was easier for him to endure 40 days without food or drink. I know, I know, he was tempted by Satan. Today, the function of “satan” for the average citizen is played by “Zabki”, “Wedronka” and another “Lidle”. They tempt: sugar, alcohol and GMO bread. As much as I have easier time, the post plans to be interrupted, and during it I will drink water.
