"We are here and we will not let any resolution to effort to change the legal state, and the sources of law that apply in Poland were denied. Their announcements must be taken seriously. We see what they did to TV. They do not retreat, they go forward – for a rhyme. To settle your business and your business. The question is, at whose request specified actions... surely not at the request of Poland and Poles..." – said today, just before the start of the protest before the Constitutional Tribunal – Beata Drędź, president of the “Polish Gazeta” Club in Piotrków Trybunalski.
Already today, at 1 p.m., patriotic communities from all over Poland will meet in Warsaw at the Protest of Free Poles before the Constitutional Tribunal. The organisers explain that a circumstantial demonstration site has committed itself to the circumstantial objectives of defending democracy, the Constitution, the regulation of law and state institutions (including in peculiar the Constitutional Tribunal).
A fewer hours before the demonstration, tv Republika spoke to the presidents of the “Gazeta Polska” Clubs in Piotrkowskie Trybunalski – Beata Drędź and Warsaw – Adam Borowski.
When asked about the intent of today's demonstration, they replied:
"I think the last 50 days have shown the confusion and hatred of Tusk's squad towards the regulation of law, towards democracy, towards the sovereignty of our state. hatred towards people, towards Poles. Reports which are repeated by the coalition on 13 December about the fact that they will now go after the Constitutional Court – they spoke about it explicitly. Therefore, as the Clubs of “Polish Newspapers”, we stated that today, February 10th, at 1 p.m., we will meet here under the Constitutional Court to jointly show support for the judges of the Constitutional Tribunal, for the full TK, for the Constitution, for the regulation of law. Things are moving forward... The coalition leaves us no choice here. We will besides talk about strategical investments, due to the fact that we will not let go of this topic," said the head of the “GP” Club in Piotrków Trybunalski.
And as she emphasized: "We stand up for what is the Polish state's ration".
Adam Borowski, on the another hand, said that it is crucial for Poles to fight for spaces of rules and laws through the current governing team.
“When there is no law, erstwhile there are no rules, the rulers have an advantage over society. They have a compression camera, a force camera in their hands. As there are no rules, there are no laws erstwhile the rulers apply the law as they realize it, society is defenceless and helpless," he pointed out.
And he added that at this point we can say explicitly that "there are no rules anymore".
“There are no rules anymore. Parliamentary resolutions replace laws. erstwhile you do not respect the prerogative of the President, erstwhile you do not respect the Constitution and simply break it, you should be clear – there are no rules anymore. Anyone can be arrested at any time... Our 2 erstwhile ministers have been detained. Any 1 of us can do that. I would like to say that by tolerating this state of affairs, everyone is exposed to force from the state... We must take action to defy what has been happening with us since 13 December," Borowski said.
Whose will is Tusk's team?
Beata Drędź pointed out that "we are here and we will not let any resolution to effort to change the legal state, and the sources of law that apply in Poland are being denied".
“The announcements must be taken seriously. We see what they did to TV. They do not retreat, they go forward – for a rhyme. To settle your business and your business. They have no respect for the rules, the good of the nation, the good of the homeland. The question is, at whose request specified actions... surely not at the request of Poland and Poles" - she concluded.
