A large journey to Monte Cassino and at the same time a pilgrimage – 1 could say a journey in the footsteps of the saints.
Starting with Santa Maria degli Angeli – Basilica of Our woman of Angels and Porciunkula – a chapel where St Francis of Assisi discovered his vocation, then Assisi and Basilica where the Holy Grave is located, through Cascia – a tiny town in the Italian Umbria, a place of life and remainder of St Rita's patron saint of hard and hopeless matters – 1 of the most worshipped saints in Italy.
Then the Vatican and the Basilica of St Peter and prayer at the grave of our beloved St John Paul II.
Then St. Paul behind the walls.
Monte Cassino abbey Benedictine, cemetery of Polish soldiers and grave of General Anders, Loreto and cemetery of Polish soldiers to Padua and Basilica of St. Anthony.
The most crucial point of departure was of course the celebration of the 82nd anniversary of the conflict of Monte Cassino with the participation of president Karol Nawrocki.
During the full trip, Father Luke was a minister of spiritual care and of holy Masses. Many emotions and spiritual and patriotic among real Poles. Beautiful initiative.
Despite the early hours of getting up and tired, it was worth driving. The memories of this journey will stay with us for a long time.
