Two Ukrainian citizens were temporarily arrested after weekend detention at the border with Lithuania. The Podlasie Border defender reported on 10 August that 16 foreigners were captured after illegally crossing the border and 2 transport organizers. For Poland, the proposal is simple: border control only works erstwhile it is real and consistent.
Detentions in Rutka-Tartak and Sejny
Podlaski Border defender Branch reported, that during the past weekend the officers detained a full of 16 people who illegally crossed the Polish-Lithuanian border, and 2 organizers of their further transport. The border with Lithuania is not a formality
The Polish-Lithuanian section of the border has been treated for years as an administrative apparent within the Schengen area. The migration crisis forced sobering up.
