The Danish Defence Procurement and Logistics Organisation (DALO) informed about the choice of radars. The kind of radar selected or the contract value has not been disclosed. The start of deliveries is due this year. The completion of the supply and the full readiness of the fresh radio lodgers is expected to take place immediately - as already in late 2026. fresh sensors are to be installed on existing radiolocation stations - replacing radars of older types. As part of the contract, apart from the systems themselves, elements of data collection and integration are to be modified, including the introduction of artificial intelligence algorithms to aid identify radar contacts.
