Last year, the media went through photos of Andrzej Duda, who lost part of his finger. At the time, it was explained that this was the consequence of an accident in housework, but the erstwhile president now stated that he actually had an accident while doing sports.
In the conversation on Rymanowski Live channel, the erstwhile president of Poland, that his hand injury is not the consequence of an accident in housework, as was initially suggested. In fact, it happened under very different circumstances.
– I'll uncover it due to the fact that it's been a secret so far: I've been swimming on this electrical board. And he fell into the engine. And unfortunately, I lost the tip of my finger. I thought I was okay due to the fact that it was autumn, the water was rather cold – Duda started.
– I felt pain, but I thought I just got hit by this board on my finger, in my hand, and I wanted to get back on the board to move. But I think to myself, "I'm sore at this hand, I'll see what's going on." I'm looking... Oh, dear! And I immediately began to wave to them (to SOP officers – ed.) – Duda continued.
Duda has “a souvenir for life”
A minute later, the erstwhile president pointed out that doctors failed to reconstruct the finger, resulting in a "memorative for life". I just don't think that should happen. There should be a safety that is not there – he mentioned, describing the method aspects of the electrical board.
