On Saturday on Markowska Street in Warsaw, there was a disturbing event during which a drunk Ukrainian citizen attacked police officers and attempted to harm a police car. The aggressive behaviour of the female forced the intervention of the service and ended in arrest for her.

Intervention in Warsaw – aggressive female in the mediate of the street

The incidental occurred Sunday night. Police officers from the Intelligence and Patrol Division of Prague North were called to the location where a female was sitting in the mediate of the roadway impenetrable by movement. According to the police report:

“The female screamed in a abroad language, did not respond to passing cars and ignored uniformed orders.”

On the sidewalk were scattered bags belonging to a woman, suggesting that she might have fallen or lost things under the influence of alcohol.

After trying to make contact, which proved impossible, the police decided to put a female in a police car. This was to prevent further threats to her safety and public order.

A female attacked police officers even in a police car.

The journey to the command did not go peacefully. While driving, the female refused to give her individual details, and besides screamed and kicked at the door of the service vehicle. Her behaviour was recorded by cameras mounted in police cars, which may later have been crucial evidence in the case.

Upon arriving, police conducted a breathalysed survey that showed a staggering level of alcohol in the blood:

Almost 2.5 blood alcohol!

This means a state of alcohol intoxication well beyond acceptable standards. Despite this, the female continued to behave aggressively – she challenged officers and tried to attack them physically.

Penitentiary up to 3 years

On Monday, the detainee heard allegations of a violation of the physical integrity of public officials and of their insults. Under Article 226(1) of the Criminal Code:

‘He who insults a public officer in connection with his work or due to his authoritative activity shall be subject to a fine, regulation of liberty or up to 3 years imprisonment.’

For these actions, a Ukrainian citizen may face 3 years imprisonment. The case has been transferred to the appropriate court to decide the destiny of the woman.

Police Communication: Non-approval of aggression against officers

Finally, the police issued an authoritative message in which they stressed that any aggression against the services has legal implications:

“We inform you! There is no consent or tolerance to aggression against public officers. Any specified conduct will consequence in legal consequences.”

This is an crucial reminder to the public that public servants are entitled to respect and security, and any attack on them is directed at a serious offence or crime.

Political negligence: Who is liable for the threat?

Unfortunately, cases like this are not isolated. The preservation of any Ukrainian citizens, which pose a threat to the safety of Poles, is mostly the consequence of the policy of the Law and the current coalition. In February 2022 under the pretext of helping “war refugees”, without appropriate control and verification, thousands of people were admitted to Poland, including those with dubious reputation.

Both the erstwhile Government of the United Right and Donald Tusk's current cabinet, have underestimated the problem, treating him as irrelevant or trying to quiet him down. alternatively of effective solutions, specified as tightening border controls or consistent expulsion of perpetrators, we are dealing with silence and fake actions.

Meanwhile, Poles must bear the consequences of these negligencees. Do we truly gotta wait for further tragedies to get the authorities to take citizens' safety seriously?
