Drunk, banned and wanted – Ukrainian citizen deported after being detained by gunmen

A 37-year-old Ukrainian citizen was detained by police officers in the Opolskie Rifles for driving in a state of intoxicated state. The man had a close promilum of alcohol in his body, broke a judicial ban on driving and was wanted to service a prison sentence. After the arrest, he was handed over to Border defender officers and deported from Poland.

Detention at Opolskie Rifles

Police officers from Opolskie Rifles detained a 37-year-old Ukrainian citizen who was driving a Skoda brand car in a state of inebriation. A breathalyst test showed close to the alcohol promil in the driver's body. In addition, the man had an active judicial ban on driving and was wanted for imprisonment.

Deportation as a consequence

After being detained, the 37-year-old was handed over to Border defender officers. In connection with the violation of the law and earlier judicial judgments, it was decided to deport him from Poland.

Similar cases

This is not an isolated case. A 26-year-old Ukrainian citizen was detained in Warsaw, who was driving under the influence of alcohol, having a 1.3-promilium alcohol in his body, and broke 2 judicial driving bans. As a consequence of these violations, he was deported from Poland.

Otherwise, in the National Rifles, a 39-year-old driver was detained for driving with 3 alcohol promilities in the body, despite a three-time ban on driving for life. The man was besides wanted by the court.

Legal implications

Driving in an intoxicated state and breaking judicial prohibitions on driving are serious crimes that may consequence in imprisonment, advanced fines and deportation in the case of foreigners.
