On August 26, Turkish shipyard Anadolu Deniz İnşaat Kızakları San. ve Tic. A.Ş. (ADİK) informed of the start of the first phase of sea trials by the frigate Izmir (F 516), the second unit of kind İstif (also known as the İstanbul class).
