Dramatic scenes during a match against Ukraine

Danish footballer Christian Eriksen fainted during the match. The incidental occurred in the second half of a social encounter with Ukraine in Odense. The gathering was not resumed and the match ended with a score of 2:1 for the hosts.

A 34-year-old sidekick abruptly fell on the turf about 65 minutes ago. Medical services immediately moved on, and the players of both teams formed a ellipse around it. After a fewer minutes, Eriksen regained consciousness and was transported to the hospital.

The Danish federation reported that the footballer is awake and feeling well. Eriksen not the first time in his career to slide to the turf: during Euro 2021, the footballer lost consciousness in a match against Finland and was reanimated on the field. After that event, he was implanted with a cardioverter-defibrillator, and after a fewer months he returned to professional play.
