The Polish Earth Society and the Association of People affected by the effects of the Warsaw Decree “Decree” were organizers of manifestations of descendants of Polish landowners and victims of the consequences of Bierut's unaccounted-for decree.
The event took place in Warsaw before the Prime Minister's headquarters, on 7 September this afternoon. The organisers of the protest united forces to voicely argue the wave of "secondary nationalisation" and the violation of constitutional rights of citizens by the Verification Commission, which investigates reprivatisational irregularities. Protesters request the cessation of the illegal activities of the Verification Commission, the protection of acquired rights and the restoration of the regulation of law in Poland, which are the foundations of any democratic regulation of law.

Marcin Schirmer, representing the environment of landowners and heirs taken over under the 1944 PKWN decree, recalled that the Polish Earth Society has been operating since 1990, and 1 of its most crucial objectives remains to solve the problem of property taken from their owners after planet War II:
– We started working in 1990 and at the time it seemed that the question of reprivatization, or any form of restitution, or redress, was something apparent and only to wait erstwhile it would happen. It's been 35 years. The question of the nationalisation of land assets has inactive not been resolved in any way. Few, these possibilities which inactive existed under the functioning of the law were cut short after the amendment of the Code of Administrative Procedure, and at the minute we have no legislative way to apply for our property to apply for our fatherhood to get any compensation or compensation in nature," said Marcin Konrad Schirmer, president of the Polish Earth Society. As he pointed out, the problem is up-to-date and it will not vanish over time, as "these issues do not expire," the demonstrators inform.

The Manifestation afraid the situation of property owners and their heirs who were deprived of their property after the Second War. The communist authorities took over, among others, apartments, houses, tenement houses – on the basis of the alleged Bierut decree – as well as factories, artisanal plants, agricultural land, manor- and palace-park teams and forests. The acquisitions took place in violation of the provisions in force at the time. The organisers pointed out that the problem remained unresolved to this day, and subsequent legal changes – in peculiar the Act of 20 October 2020 and the amendment of the Administrative Procedure Code of 2021 – importantly reduced the anticipation of redress by owners and their successors. In the opinion of the organizers, the Polish State should respect the rights of owners and heirs and supply them with a real chance to assert their rights.
