Donald Tusk on Poles in the United States. "Preparing consulates"

On Tuesday, Donald Tusk referred to US president Donald Trump's announcements regarding the fight against illegal migration.

The head of government reported that before the inauguration of Trump's presidency, he turned to abroad Minister Radosław Sikorski to take action in the United States.

– I asked the Minister of abroad Affairs to prepare our diplomatic missions, consulates in the USA, to be prepared to take action on Poles who are present in this area with different position and level of legality – Prime Minister Donald Tusk informed during the government meeting.

As the leader of KO said, the fresh administration has not yet informed anyone about the details of the operation. “We do not know whether the consequences can be severe for Polish citizens in the US,” said the head of the government.

– So we must be well prepared. Therefore, our facilities in the United States will scope our citizens as shortly as possible, who will be afraid in any way and will be able to number on the aid of the consular officials and our government," said Tusk.

The Prime Minister besides stressed that "each Pole and all Pole will be warmly welcomed in the country". Everyone will find a place in their homeland, everyone will find their America here.
