Local elections were held yesterday, but the process of counting votes continues. According to an exit poll, the Law and Justice organization won, winning 33.7% of support. The second place was taken by the Civic Coalition, which received support at 31.9% of Poles. The podium closes the 3rd Road, scoring 13.5% of the vote.
Among PO farmers in 3rd place
Donald Tusk published an entry on social media in which he summed up the results of yesterday's election, paying attention to both successes and failures. Among the latter, the Prime Minister mentioned a decline in attendance compared to the October elections and failure in the east provinces and among farmers.

According to polling data, in the elections to the Sejm in the voivodships in the east of Poland, the Law and Justice organization gained a immense advantage. The 30% difference between PiS and KO is visible in Podkarpackie Voivodeship. PiS received 49.7% of support there, KO – 19.2%, and 3rd Road – 10.9%.
The Citizens' Coalition was even worse given only the voices of farmers. According to the poll, 57.3% of them voted for Law and Justice. The second place was the 3rd Road with the consequence of 15.1% of the votes, and only in the 3rd position was the Civic Coalition with the consequence of 9.6%.

According to the poll, attendance in the local elections was 51.5%. The amazing conclusion is that among all age groups, young people aged 18-29 were the least likely to go to elections. This makes a large difference compared to the 2023 parliamentary elections, erstwhile nearly 70% of young people, entitled to vote, went to the polls. Why the discrepancy? hard to say.
