Year of Donald Tusk's rule. The Prime Minister has a serious problem

A year after the coalition of KO, PSL, Poland 2050 and the Left, Poles measure the effects of political change. According to the 2 latest polls, the majority of the public does not announcement or measure any crucial changes in their lives. Has the change of power made a real difference? The Prime Minister has a serious problem.

In the United Surveys survey for RMF FM and the diary of Legal Newspaper, 46.8% of respondents stated that their situation did not change compared to the erstwhile year. For 37.5% life became more difficult, and only 13.6 percent experienced improvement.

Similar results are presented by the poll of the Pollster Institute for “Super Express”. According to this survey, 44 percent of respondents believe that their lives deteriorated as a consequence of the actions of the fresh government. No changes were noted by 36 percent, and the improvement was indicated by 14 percent of Poles.

Differences between electorates – a serious problem

Governmental coalition sympathizers are more likely to see changes in the affirmative light. As much as 24.7 percent of them declare an improvement, while in the group of opponents of the current government (PiS supporters, Confederation and Together) only 1% evaluates the year of government positively. In this group, 68.5% of patients study a deterioration in their life situation.

In turn, 69.1% of coalition voters believe that their lives have not changed since Donald Tusk and his allies took power.

Test methodology

Both polls were conducted on akin trials, utilizing the CAWI (Computer Assisted Web Interviewing) method, which ensures standardization of the results. The RMF FM and the "DGP" survey took place on 6-8 December 2024 on a example of 1,000 people. The survey for the “Super Express” was carried out on 10-11 December at a example of 1,005 adult Poles.
