Allowances for pensions paid by ZUS

The pension allowances paid by the Social Insurance Institution in March will be increased by an index of valorisation. The most popular of them is the care allowance, which presently amounts to PLN 330.07. It is taxation free and taxation free.

– The care allowance shall be granted ex officio to persons who are 75 years of age and are entitled to a pension for incapacity for work or another long-term benefit paid by the Social Insurance Institution but for the social and parental supplementary pension known as ‘Mama 4 plus’. Recipients who are not yet 75 years old may receive an allowance on request, provided that they are considered completely unfit for work and incapable to be independently by the doctor of the Social safety Office or the medical board of the Social safety Office – informs Katarzyna Krupicka, regional press typical of ZUS Podlaskie Voivodeship.

– On the another hand, persons who are completely incapable of working and incapable to live independently, who receive a social pension from the Social Insurance Institution or the benefit of “Mama 4 plus” or who do not receive any another long-term benefit, may apply for a nursing allowance at the municipal office or social assistance centre – explains the spokesperson.

Other allowances and benefits paid by the Social Insurance Institution by the end of February are:

  • secret teaching allowance – PLN 330.07,
  • a nursing allowance for an invalid declared completely unfit for work and for self-existence; PLN 495.11,
  • supplement for a complete orphan – PLN 620.36,
  • Kombatant supplement – PLN 330.07,
  • compensatory allowance — PLN 49.51,
  • invalidity allowance — PLN 1263,73,
  • the cash provision for erstwhile miners' soldiers and the benefit for deportees set at the maximum amount, PLN 330.07,
  • a cash benefit for deportees, set at little than the maximum — depending on the number of full months of work — on PLN 16.55 au PLN 313,61.

Energy lump sum– PLN 299.82.
