The Ministry of Education announces the introduction of the compulsory subject "Health Education" and another harmful changes under the alleged Reforms26 from 1 September 2026. Parents, counselors, pediatricians and others protest. MEN are inactive pushing for change. We're responding!
We invitation you to participate in the demonstration entitled “Good school - strong Poland” of everyone who is at the heart of the future of Polish school, the rights of parents and the welfare of children. Together, let us show that the Polish school should service education and education – not ideological experiments.
If you cannot be with us personally, you can besides participate in this initiative in another way – supporting the organisation of the protest with a donation. Thanks to this, you will aid us prepare a demonstration and publicize opposition to these changes across Poland.
Why are we protesting?
The subject of wellness Education has already been introduced to schools, but is presently not compulsory. Parents could decide whether their children would participate in this class. The reaction of society was very clear. Across the country, around 70% of students were enrolled or resigned. This was a clear signal of opposition to the proposed expression of the fresh subject.
Despite the clear position of many families, the Ministry of Education announces that from 1 September 2026 "Health Education" is to become a compulsory subject for primary and secondary school pupils. It has been announced that the alleged "sexual health" module will not be mandatory, but, as the critics indicate, this does not solve the main problem.
The coordinator of the Coalition for the Salvation of the Polish School, Dr. Zbigniew Barciński, points out that "the full subject of wellness education, besides without this module, is an anti-family subject".
According to many experts and parents, the problem concerns not only 1 component of the program, but the very concept of the subject, which, in their opinion, marginalises the importance of marriage, household and parenthood, while limiting the real influence of parents on the upbringing of their children.
Therefore, more and more social groups believe that alternatively of introducing a compulsory “Health Education” they should return to the voluntary subject “Rescue into life in a family” which has been operating in Polish schools for more than 25 years. wellness teaching should be carried out on many subjects, as has been the case so far.
This is why we meet in Warsaw on 14 June.
We want to show that the future of the Polish school cannot be shaped above the heads of parents, contrary to the well-being of students and their right to a sound science.
Health education is part of the alleged Reform26. Compass of next day conducted by Minister Barbara Nowacka at the Polish school. Despite criticisms by Barbara Nowack, he wants to destruct the canon of reading, drastically reduce the content of teaching, introduce fresh subjects and advance climate education.
