The subject of this survey is analysis by Alexander W. Daniliuka – a longtime advisor to Ukrainian defense, safety and intelligence institutions (e.g. the Ministry of Defence and the General Staff of Ukraine) – and Dr. Jack Watling, a land-based military expert at the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI), closely cooperating with British armed forces. "Winning the Industrial War: Comparing Russia, Europe and Ukraine, 2022–24"** ([published on 3 April on RUSI](https://static.rusi.org/winning-the-industrial-war-comparing-russia-europe-Ukraine-2022-24.pdf)) brings closer the processes of military-industrial mobilization in Russia, Europe and Ukraine. It explains why Russia – despite its limited economy compared to the West – was able to rapidly and importantly increase its military production, and Ukraine managed to partially rebuild its manufacture even under continuous fire. On the another hand, European countries, despite their large financial resources, faced many barriers and did not accomplish equally awesome capacity gains.
