The protests organised by you in Bucharest showed clear slogans for Romania's exit from the European Union. What are the arguments for RoExitu?
– I did not call for RoExit, but for a referendum in which the Romanian people could decide whether they wanted to stay in the EU. The EU is no longer what it was at the time of its establishment: an economical union aimed at facing the economical expansion of the United States. The Union has become an anti-democratic organisation that subjugates the associate States, destroying their sovereignty. Within 15 years of joining the EU, Romania lost its industry, having the largest emigration of around 10 million people, or half of the population, the largest number of children born abroad in history. Being practically the richest country of Europe in terms of its resources, we ended up with nothing, due to the fact that they went under the control of European corporations. We had traitors in power, who the EU and abroad forced to sale everything that had late resigned from the Constitution to enter the Schengen area that we were not allowed in.
The Romanians should make the decision, and the polls show that more than 65% of them want RoExitu. Personally, I do not want to leave the Union, but I think it is time to change the full structure of the EU. I think that, in order to stay in the Union, Romania should sit down to talk to the powers as equal and renegotiate the terms of membership, especially with Germany and France.
From the very beginning, you opposed Romania's commitment to the conflict in Ukraine. You announced the proposal for the Bucharest Peace. What was your consequence to your demands in this document?
– all patriot and national is willing to do anything to guarantee that his country and nation avoid war. War is death. Who would want their children, parents, friends dead? From the very beginning of the Ukrainian-Russian War, I made it clear: we should not be involved. I was the only parliamentarian who held that position. I do not believe that this is due to my courage, but alternatively to my sense of work to defend my own country and nation. Moreover, pictures from television, absurd information and lies from mainstream media, have confirmed to me that we are dealing with the same run of lies as during the pandemic masquerade. I went to the border crossing to Seret and saw myself how Ukrainian millionaires in luxury cars, with suitcases of money paid Ukrainian borderers to release them from the country, while Romanians were forced to sacrifice in the name of supporting Ukraine. I won't be fooled. I had quite a few information from both countries, including the Romanians from Ukraine, and erstwhile I heard the Romanian Prime Minister calling on young people to join the army, I said "enough." Our children will not die for another people's business. I realized that without decisive action, they could not be stopped from sending our weapons to a front that does not concern us. Our compatriots are terrorized there, have no right to talk Romanian, have liquidated Romanian schools, have forbidden prayers and liturgy, have virtually no rights. In 2020, the president of Ukraine, Zelenski, declared that we were illegally controlling Northern Bukovina, that there are no Romanians there and that they have no rights.
I concluded that God’s aid was to announce the slogan “Neutra Romania. Bucharest Peace". I have written to all the institutions in Romania, from the president to the intelligence services, that we will be talking to the embassies involved, including the European Commission's representation, and encouraging negotiations. I wanted the capital of Romania to be at the centre of attention so that we could retaliate the losses of the Bucharest treaties 1812 and 1918 erstwhile we lost many of our lands and the large powers shared Romania on their own terms. I think we have had any success due to the fact that 1 period after my speech, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán called for peace in Budapest.

We have a program to recover the natural deposits of Romania, the richest in Europe. We have ideas for the improvement of all sectors and industries of manufacture and agriculture. We besides have a concept of sovereignty within the EU. We would like to bring Romanians from another countries to Romania, including primarily intellectuals capable of preparing and implementing the changes we have proposed. At European level, we call for the renegotiation of the EU accession treaty to be based on equality and sovereignty. Sovereignty and independency are a condition of national existence.
You mention territorial issues in relations with Ukraine.
– If we had a abroad policy half as good as Nicolae Titulescu (Romanian abroad Minister from 1932 to 1936 – ed.), these areas would return to the matrix.
Romania, like Poland, sends weapons to Ukraine. What are the consequences?
“Romania has never officially admitted it, possibly under my initiative. She only admitted to providing bulletproof vests, helmets, and humanitarian aid. Poland initially, together with Hungary, besides refused military engagement. Unfortunately, after Kamala Harris' visit, everything changed by 180 degrees. I am against a policy that puts our innocent people at risk. Our children can't be cannon meat to anyone.
If a weapon is delivered to a war that does not concern Romania or Poland, it becomes a organization to the conflict. Someone's gonna say we're in NATO. But it doesn't matter. Ukraine is not a associate of NATO or the EU. Article 5 of the Treaty does not apply to it. We cannot accept attempts to affect us in this conflict due to the fact that the Americans and the European Commission want to do so in their interests. We are sovereign countries and we cannot participate due to the fact that no 1 attacked us. Besides, who wants it? NATO, the United States? They may want to, but we decide whether to accept it. No 1 can deny our sovereignty. Remember, the Americans are over 12,000 kilometers away. They don't hazard anything. We hazard everything. Russia is part of Europe. No 1 can decision it. Let's look at the map where it is and what it means. You want us to fight our neighbor? You gotta have diplomatic relations with your neighbors. Do not yield to them or attack them, but treat them all equally, according to the common economical interest, without giving up sovereignty.
Besides, NATO is simply a defence pact, at least that's what he says. What do you think of NATO bases in Romania?
– Until no 1 attacked us, I can't realize why NATO troops are expected to be stationed here. possibly individual doesn't know it, but in Cincu, Kogălnicean and Devesel, they're not NATO troops, they're only American. Recently, as a senator, I came up with an initiative to apply the rule of reciprocity, namely that 2 Romanian bases should be created in the United States, paid by American taxpayers. We agreed to everything without getting anything in return. We cannot even go to the United States without a visa, we are not in the Schengen area, although we have been in the EU for 15 years. NATO units cost us a lot: Romania pays 1,000 euros a day for all abroad soldier in its territory. Romanians do not eat, we have more than 30% of the population below the poorness line, 70% – poor, we borrow and we have already exceeded the debt level of 53% of GDP, and NATO takes over EUR 4 million per day for stationing its troops. Do you know what that means? It is money that would let the improvement of 1 region, to rebuild manufacture and agriculture. So we could rebuild all the regions in the country in 50 days. How could I agree to the NATO base in Romania? It's the same thing as accepting the degradation of my country.
Do you think that Poland and Romania could work together to stabilise Central Europe?
“Romania and Poland could primarily cooperate with the Bucharest Peace initiative.” I do not realize why the Polish ambassador to Romania refused to meet us on this issue, as did the ambassadors of Ukraine, Hungary, Slovakia, the United States, the EU, the Czech Republic. The only diplomat open to discussion was the Russian Federation ambassador. As regards the stabilisation of the region, which I would describe as Central and east Europe, it would be essential to affect post-communist countries whose interests no 1 defends today. This would give us the possible and chance to equalize our forces in the face of the large Western powers that present see themselves as our protectors.
