On Friday the Border defender provided information about 2 foreigners who were detained in connection with criminal sentences. 1 of them – a citizen of Ukraine – has already been deported, while a citizen of Albania is waiting for forced leave of Poland.
Ukrainian deported after multiple violations
Officers of the Sosnowiec Border defender Service detained a Ukrainian citizen on Wednesday, who had just completed his prison sentence. The man had a fewer convictions on his record. driving under the influence of alcohol. Information about it was provided by the Criminal Institution in Wojkowice.

"The behaviour of the 34-year-old clearly indicates that he does not intend to respect and comply with the laws in force in the territory of the Republic of Poland. In view of the above, the SG office in Opole decided to deport him, prohibiting re-entry into the Schengen area for 10 years. Now, the territory Court in Strzelce Opolskie will decide to place it in a safe center for foreigners, where it will be waiting to return to its country” – reads the release.
