On 23 June, the Materials and Procurement Agency of the Ministry of Defence FMI (Forsvarsministeriets Materiel- og Indkøbsstyrelse) signed a contract for the plan of fresh patrol vessels for the Naval Force of the Kingdom of Denmark (Søværnet) with the Danske Patruljeskibe K/S consortium.
