Ladies and gentlemen,
From the bottom of my heart, I thank the Social Construction Committee of the National Monument to the Volyn massacre for its hard work, determination and many years of selfless work to reconstruct the memory of the victims of genocide made by the CNS-UPA in Volyn and east Małopolska. Your actions are an expression of actual patriotism, which is not afraid of the fact – even the most painful one.
Answers to questions:
1. In the event of entrusting the function of president of the Republic of Poland, I will support with all determination the construction of a museum at the Volynska Rzeszow, as a place of education, reflection and national memory. Poland must not forget its children murdered for being Poles. Only on the foundation of fact and justice can we build the future — not on relativization, silence, or false reconciliation.
2. Yes – in case of election as president of the Republic of Poland, I will take honorary patronage of ceremonies commemorating the murdered by UPA and OUN, organized at the National Monument of the Volhyńska Reich.
As the only candidate for the office of the president of the Republic of Poland, I had the honour to be present at both the digging of the foundation stone and at the ceremony of unveiling the National Monument of the Volhynia Sculpture. For me, it is not only a work to history, but above all a expression of solidarity with the victims, their families and the full Polish nation, who demands fact and justice.
3. As president of Poland:
– I will request that the glories of the criminals of UPA and CNS be removed from the public space of Ukraine,
– I will make all Polish State aid dependent on the circumstantial actions of the Ukrainian side in this regard,
– I will exhume and bury the victims of the Volyn genocide,
– I will reconstruct Polish east politics to dignity, fact and strength based on the interests of the Nation.
