Conversation with the President
On Tuesday, July 22, Rafał Bochenek reported that Anita Czerwińska and Daniel Obietek, who had previously signed a letter from the improvement Plus Association addressed to Jarosław Kaczyński, declared that they did not belong to an organization associated with Mateusz Morawiecki. After Daniel Obytek's declaration was confirmed, his decision positively commented on the social media of many PiS politicians, including those associated with Przemysław Czarnek and Zbigniew Ziobra.
An crucial minute was the direct gathering of Obiektek with Jarosław Kaczyński. It was after talking to the president of PiS that the Euro MP was to decide to distance himself completely from the internal-party faction. Thus, the politician, so far seen as part of the backdrop of the erstwhile Prime Minister, clearly signalled that he remained loyal to the mainstream of his party.
Both of them then commented on the full situation on platform X:
I'm all for unity in the PiS. This is my clear statement. But this unity should not mean that Matthew Morawiecki should be expelled from the party. Peace in the PiS! That's what we need. The enemy is somewhere else. Let's remember that.
Prohibition of associations
W Almost and Justice is becoming more and more clear about the tensions associated with the activities of interior political groups. Last week, the party's authorities adopted a resolution which obliges its members to resign from belonging to associations active in political activity. Among the organisations covered by the decision were improvement Plus, associated with Mateusz Morawiecki, and the initiative First Poland Jack Sasin. Rafał Bochenek warned that people who do not comply with organization guidelines may be placed under a procedure leading to removal from the Law and Justice.
The party's leadership's decision sparked another wave of public disputes and common declarations. Jarosław Kaczyński besides referred to the situation, who appealed to organization colleagues to calm emotions. In an entry published on the X site, he called on them to “slow their breath” and to keep their distance, convincing that public conflicts inside the group could be beneficial to his opponents.
However, not all erstwhile Prime Minister's environmental representatives intend to comply with the party's leadership's expectations. Politicians associated with Mateusz Morawiecki announce further activities within the framework of Plus improvement and the continuation of planned events. The erstwhile Prime Minister himself, in his statement, made it clear that he did not intend to quit the path, writing, "No intrigue will halt her."
Sasin cancels the association
A firm decision by the Law and Justice authorities rapidly affected the functioning of political environments developing on the right side outside the mainstream party. Shortly after the adoption of the resolution, Jacek Sasin announced the termination of the association Firstly, Poland. The erstwhile Deputy Prime Minister decided to submit to the group's leadership's decision without further confrontation with the party's authorities.
In the interview on TVN24 Sasin provided:
No 1 throws anyone out or pushes anyone out. There is area for everyone in the Law and Justice. We'd like everyone to work under 1 banner.
