Denmark picks up storm bridges on Leopard chassis 2

The Danish Defence and Logistics acquisition Agency (FMI) in December 2019 signed a contract with the then KMW company (now KNDS Detuschland) for the supply of a full of 7 vehicle carriers (based on Leopard 2) and six sets of Leguan bridge bays (both 14 and 26 metres). Along with vehicles, spare parts, specialized tools, computer trainers and a training and logistics package were obtained. Interestingly, each of the assault bridges was obtained with a semitrailer for their transport (including a backup copy).
