On 26 March 2015, Saudi Arabia launched an intervention in Yemen. Although it has been going on for 7 years and in addition to the Sauds there are inactive respective another countries involved, it has not been able to accomplish much success. Why is Saudi intervention a humanitarian and political disaster? What is the genesis of the Yemeni conflict? What effect did Saleh's presidency (1978-2011) have on the Yemeni war? What is the relation between Houthi and Iran? I answer all these questions in this study. I invitation you on a journey through the meanders of Yemeni politics.
