The defence agreement signed in Mecca on 7 August, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, was officially published. The document, known as _Makkah Joint Defence Agreement_, contains a collective defence clause resembling Article 5 of NATO, but differs from it in key details that substance to its applicable functioning.
