Two thirds of the surveyed Poles (66%) want to reconstruct compulsory homework in schools. The majority of women, those with higher education and the voters of Law and Justice are in favour of this step - according to the latest opinion24.
In accordance with the Regulation Ministry of National Education Since April 2024, students in grades 1-3 must not have homework - both practical-technical and written, but for tiny motoring exercises. In classes 4-8, teachers may order tasks to be performed outside the schoolroom time, but they are optional and unrated.
According to the survey Opinion24 for RMF FM 66% of respondents are in favour of the restoration of compulsory housework. The thought is powerfully supported by 37 percent of those who took part in the survey, and 29 percent agree with it. The other is 17 percent, and the same number of respondents are incapable to take sides.

Among those who want to amend the Regulation, Women dominate - 69 percent believe that compulsory work should return to the teaching system. They are besides mostly persons with higher education (76%) and Voters of Law and Justice (83%), as well as those who voted for Karol Nawrocki in the presidential election (another 78% in the first circular and 76% in the second).

The survey besides indicated that support for the return of home work is highest in older groups (60+), PiS voters. On the another hand, younger people and sympathizers of the Civic Coalition and Rafał Trzaskowski are skeptical..
The survey was conducted on 1-3 September on a typical example of 1003 adults in Poland. Mixed-mode techniques were used, combining computer-assisted telephone interviews (CATI) and net interviews (CAWI). The results are presented in percentages rounded to integers.
