The facts are inexorably clear: Rafał Trzaskowski passes into past as the first candidate for president of the Republic of Poland, who – as president of the capital – has introduced a de facto ban on Christian symbolism in offices.

And since it is simply a symbol, any prohibitions and precepts on the Cross inevitably gotta reckon with the reaction in the planet of symbolism. Symbolism not so much religious, but national and historical. After all, Poland was created as a Christian state and continued through past as a “premature of Christianity”. Taking -in the name of Christianity and the Cross - military victories ("veni, vidi, Deus Vicit – I came, I saw, God prevailed" Jan Sobieski close Vienna) and resisting the invaders and occupiers.

I repeat: the cross at the office is not a subject of worship, but above all a symbol of the cultural and historical continuity of the state since 966 – the year of Poland's baptism. Taking care of this continuity is 1 of the President's duties as Head of State.

past can't be changed. All you can do is fake it. erstwhile the symbol is attacked, it doesn't substance what the reason or arguments of the attacker are. The symbol does not accept any compromises. It requires defense. May 18th, it didn't happen.

June 1 will be a second chance and then voters will decide. This will be an crucial test. The consequence of the election will tell about the Poles A.D. 2025 much more than who will be their president.
