Chapter III. My truth, your truth, g. fact - information in war
It is besides worth to keep up to date with the attitude of invaders to the local population. I realize (and you besides realize) that there will be lots of rumors about what the occupiers are doing to the local population. Do not give large importance to the content of these stories. But their reproducibility and effect should tell you something about the risks associated with the gathering of representatives of “Russian miru”.
And now that I've touched on the subject of information... Well, the presence of civilians in the theatre of activities, which, as you know, is inevitable, besides results in quite a few information being created and just as much (if not more) misinformation. all day legends arise. all day their strength grows. Stories, stories, facts and fantasy are born. any events are immediately beginning to nymba the legend. So fast, that sometimes hours after their occurrence, the fact cannot be separated from the storyline that the fact has grown. All of this makes it highly hard to know in the planet these half- and quarter-information, urban and agrarian legends. So you gotta treat everything you hear from people (including uniforms) from a distance. Check the information, check the sources, put them together, don't make a decision based on 1 witness. The misinformation circulating in the combat region is not innocent Facebook Facebook Facebook Facebook. Disinformation in theatre activities can lead to missed decisions and missed decisions endanger to die.
What is the disinformation mechanism? Well, let's look at the examples. It is best to learn in practice. Remember erstwhile old Josephov told the firehouse that the Russians were shooting tanks at Anna's house? Exactly. Anna knew that this was not true, due to the fact that the smoke that Josephov saw came from the Molotov cocktail test. We know that. But Joseph’s listeners under the fire did not know this. Although they should have known it was a rumor, they most likely wouldn't have missed the tank blasts in their village, but...
Exactly, there is simply a “but”. Shortly after Josephova released her rumor, a Russian tank actually appeared in Zahajki. Now let's add 2 to two: Josephov's false communicative about the Russians firing from the tank with the fact that they appeared in the tank village. And what's coming out of this gossipy arithmetic? They came in a Russian tank and fired. The smoke that Josephov saw is no longer important, it is not crucial that Josephova spoke of shooting at Anna's house. Gossip gets a fresh life. They came to Zahajek Russian and fired from the tank at home. After their visit, 2 explosions were heard in the forest. So what was it like? Yeah, they came and shot. Many Zahajek residents will give this version as theirs in the following hours, erstwhile they meet friends, possibly with residents of the surrounding towns. 1 can imagine that individual from a close village will hear explosions in the woods, get on a bike and go to Zahajek to ask if anyone knows anything. And there everyone knows that the Russians came to the village and fired. Thus disinformation based on completely different events begins to live its own life and goes into the world.
announcement that another rumor might be born in connection with Anna's story, rather dangerous for our heroine. The Russians left after talking to Anna, in which she told them the positions of Polish troops. Not everyone needs to know they were imaginary positions. Not everyone needs to realize what Anna talked to the Russians about. But people saw her talking to them, and they turned around. A hero? How about a constable? Well, it's up to the rumors that they're hard to control.
A communicative about a soldier who himself kept an enemy column on the blockpost until he ran out of ammunition and was shot by invaders in the same way. And it's just as unbelievable.
You'll hear quite a few stories like this in the area of encountering the fighting parties. Neither will there be a communicative about the bomb squad, which did not get distant from the mined bridge before reaching the enemy column and like Volodyjowski in Kamieniec Podolski blew himself up with the bridge, giving his life to halt hostile attack.
There will be a touching communicative about a Russian officer who will enter a house, see a fewer months of baby and ask for the chance to hold him in his arms, due to the fact that he left his pregnant wife at home, and he feels that his kid will no longer be able to hold him.
There's gonna be a comic communicative about the slant-eyed Federation soldiers who drank a full bottle of Monini oil with their glasses, reasoning it was any fancy drink.
There's gonna be anecdotal communicative about a vet any troubled female brought in by a stray dog moving around in a panic. The female asks the vet to give the dog a sedative due to the fact that the dog is very stressed. The vet's looking in the car where he's expected to have a stressed dog and what does he see in the back seat? Yes, a stressed creature. But not the dog, the wolf. Oh, there's a baby in our house, and if she insists, she'll push the wolf into the lanos and the vet's delivery.
There will be many stories. In fact, they are harmless. any of them will be mouth-to-mouth for heartwarming, any will just be ridiculous. But any of them will have the character of dangerous misinformation. And this is where the troops were seen, although they weren't there. And that's where the slaughter wasn't. And it was there that the Russians fled to the dust, though they did not truly escape, but they dug in the close forest.
I can't tell you all these stories. It is clear that fresh ones will rise. But I hope that I have been able to make you feel that you do not believe everything you hear, and that the information you base your decisions on will be your own. At least prudently. Happiness must be helped.
