Czech Republic: F-35 replace Gripeny

The Czech Government authorised defence minister Jana Černochova to open negotiations with the US Government on the acquisition of 5th generation F-35 Lightning II aircraft. The information obtained by Defence24 during the ILA 2022 in Berlin was thus confirmed. The machines would enter service after the end of the 2027 leasing of Swedish JAS39 Gripen fighters.
