Officers of the Central Bureau for Combating Cybecrime broke up a gang of frauds extorting BLIC codes. There are 8 suspects in the case, including 3 minors.
Investigators have determined that each associate of the group had a task. "Some of them were liable for setting up fictitious accounts or taking over existing profiles on popular sales portals and social media. Through them, fictional advertisements were published concerning the sale of various kinds of objects" - explained Michał Pietraszko from the CBZC press team.
