Five years and no congress

According to “Rzeczpospolita”, Janusz Korwin-Mikke, a erstwhile associate of the Confederate Leaders' Council, who, after being excluded from the party, founded a group of KORWIN, applied to the territory Court in Warsaw to appoint a curator for the Confederation. Politician argue this illegality of the authorities of this group. The paper notes that the policy is not the only individual with specified an opinion on the current legal situation of the party.

According to the explanations of the Confederation's journal, which celebrated the five-year registration in the registry of political parties by the territory Court in Warsaw, it should have held its first legislature by that date. The party's statutes state that "congress shall be convened by the leadership council at least erstwhile all 5 years". But that did not happen.

On purpose?

The board of leaders, including Krzysztof Bosak, Sławomir Mentzen, Grzegorz Braun and Michał Wawer, did not organize the congress. Unofficially, it is said that the reason is fear that legislature could open the door to fresh members. It is worth recalling that the Confederation brings together various groups: the Bosaka National Movement, the fresh Hope of Mentzen and the Confederation of the Polish Crown Braun. Each of these clubs has respective 1000 members.

There is simply a concern that convening a legislature could make a rivalry between these groups about who will registry more fresh members.

Member of the Confederate Leadership Council and Treasurer, Michał Wawer, informed the “Rzeczpospolita” that the organization is inactive in the forming phase. The authorities were appointed in 2019 by the founders and the statutes stipulate that "the word of office of the appointed authorities thus continues until the election of the fresh authorities at the congress". Wawer stressed that the current authorities could legally operate until the convention was convened.

Other applications for a curator

The paper established that there was at least 1 further application in the court for the establishment of a curator for the Confederacy, made by Samuel Torkowska, Piotr Sterkowski and Tomasz Kwiatkowski. Tomasz Kwiatkowski was head of the Chancellery of president of Poland Lech Wałęsa in 1995.

Unlike Korwin-Mikke, applicants are not members of the Confederation but claim to have "constitutional, statutory and statutory right to apply for membership". In a letter to the court, they argue that they cannot become members, due to the fact that according to the statutes of acceptance, the vote of the Leaders' Council is decided.

None of the applications for a probation officer have yet to be examined by the court.
