Conference participants “CSOs at the forefront of refugees support – common challenges and solutions” represented respective twelve organisations working for people with experience of migration and refugees.
During the opening, we were accompanied by Ambassadors of Norway and Iceland, Øystein Bø and Hannes Heimisson, as well as a typical of the United Nations advanced Commissioner for Refugees, Kevin J. Allen.
The conference provided a space for sharing good practices related to integration, strengthening people with experience of refugees and people from host communities and building cross-sectoral partnerships. There were besides topics related to advocacy, cooperation with volunteers, conducting research, as well as countering professional burnout. Participants and participants besides exchanged experiences from the border, camps or working with persons exposed to cross-discrimination.
The conference “CSOs at the forecast of renewables support – common challenges and solutions” is simply a regional initiative implemented by our sister program Active Citizens – Regional Fund In cooperation with us and with the operators of the Fund from Croatia, Greece, Lithuania and Romania.
