The Ukrainian army does not hide that the Crimean Bridge is inactive on the precedence list. However, as the commander of the Ukrainian Navy, Oleksiy Neizpap, points out, the success of specified operations requires absolute information silence. In an interview with Crimea, he emphasized: “There is no fortress to be won” and stated that the bridge connecting Russia to occupied Crimea is the same goal as any another – although much better protected.
