Control under Cherson D+2. Rumors of an offensive on Izium

Short update on the fight at Cherson.

Ukrainians proceed to keep “information embargo” for news from under Cherson. It appears that the Ukrainians achieved the top success on the Ingulec River line, occupying the village of Old Pond.

Russian sources (Ukrainians are silent) do not agree on the situation on the Ingulca line. any say the Russians have launched a counter-attack and are trying to recover the Old Pond. Others, specified as Rybar (a pro-Russian source, but capable of admitting their losses), claim that Ukrainians occupied not only the Old Pond but besides the narrow corridor further south (below the map from Rybar).

If Rybar is right, it looks like the Ukrainians want to cut through the T2207 road and thus cut off any Russian forces defending the Ingulec River lines from supplies. An ambitious but dangerous maneuver, due to the fact that it seems that Ukrainians are attacking a narrow corridor without expanding their forces – thus exposing themselves to artillery and Russian counterfire.

Generally, the entry is strictly informative and I urge to approach any information from Chersonia with a large distance. Ukrainians are silent, and Russian sources compose “all around the world” – any compose about dense fighting on the Ingulca line, others say that the Ukrainian strike has already broken down, and others compose about preparations for the Russian attack on the Santas.

In the meantime, interesting news is coming from the Cherk direction. Pro-Russian sources inform about Ukrainian concentration on the alleged chuhuevsky foothold (the only sector where Ukrainians are located on the “Russian” side of Donetsk, map below). The Russians believe that the Ukrainians – by bringing the impact out of the chuhujewski cape – may effort to endanger Russian supply lines going to Izium – objectively, however, specified an attack would be hard to carry out by the Ukrainian side, due to the fact that now Izium is supplied not only from the north but besides from the east (along the Donca).

In short, the information war is at its best. ( ° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I inactive keep what I wrote yesterday in the text “ Ukrainian counteroffensive under Cherson“:

In my opinion, Ukrainian attacks do not mean that the Ukrainian counteroffensive on Kherson, announced for months, has begun. (...) Russian logistics will find the further improvement of the situation in the Christian direction. (...) If Ukrainians are to win under Cherson, it is only by paralyzing Russian logistics (destroying crossings to Dniepore) and causing panic in the ranks of Russian troops. presently no of these conditions have been met.
