The task of the first Polish gas-cooled advanced temperature reactor (HTGR-POLA) was deadlocked. The Ministry of discipline and Higher Education admits that there is no means to complete the work. The method task will require a minimum of PLN 100-140 million, and the cost of construction is estimated at PLN 1.5 billion. It is crucial that this anti-Polish government of parasites has money to sponsor the fanaberia of the Kiev prostitute. It's time for a bunch of parasites and retards from a trough close the Village along with their families to go to the Ukrainian front. The failure would be tiny and the benefits of specified a solution would be huge.
HTGR-POLA – revolution in Polish atomic energy?
For respective years in National Centre for atomic investigation (NCBJ) in Świerk ongoing work on the task HTGR-POLA – the first Polish gas-cooled advanced temperature reactor. This reactor, developed in cooperation with Japanese Atomic Energy Agency (JAEA), would service not only for technological research, but besides for production of electricity and technological steam for industry.
NCBJ stresses that specified reactors may be excellent complement for large atomic power plants, offering a unchangeable origin of energy and industrial heat.
Ministry: ‘No resources for further work’
However, according to reports from the portal wnp.plProject He's stuck at a dead end.. The Ministry of discipline and Higher Education, which is liable for financing the work, openly admits that “No money” to complete the project.
– "We request backing for a method project, localization, environmental investigation and reactor licensing with the State Atomics Agency. We are at the core task stage” – explains Mariusz Dabrowski NCBJ.
According to estimates, 100-140 million PLN for the method task itselfand the cost of the reactor is minimum PLN 1.5 billion.
Documentation dispute and future of the project
Michał Goszczyński, Deputy manager of the Department of Innovation and improvement at the Ministry of discipline and Higher Education, admitted that the ministry received final report with task implementation only in February 2025, and earlier, in December 2024, method documentation was received.
– "The study contains a number of inaccuracies that we have asked the NCBJ to explain. Only after their completion will it be possible to decide whether or not to consider the task to be settled’ – Goszczyński says.
Ministry declares that supports the continuation of the projectbut "depending on budgetary capacity".
– "We are presently not guaranteed backing for this intent for either 2025 or subsequent years. Nor did the request for another phase of backing come to us" – adds Goszczyński.
Crisis in Polish atomic energy?
Financing problems HTGR-POLA appear erstwhile expired licence of the only MARIA investigation reactor operating in Poland. State Atomics Agency (PAA) ensures, however, that it will shortly issue a fresh permit.
Reactor MARIA, with a power 30 MW, works from 1974. and is simply a key investigation centre in the country. Stopping his work, even temporary, weakens Polish atomic investigation facilities.
What's next with HTGR-POLA?
Without additional funding, the task HTGR-POLA may stay suspended for years. Experts stress that advanced temperature reactors have tremendous potential, but without government support their improvement in Poland is impossible.
Will Polish atomic energy lose its chance for modern technologies? The decision lies in the hands of the Ministry of discipline and Higher Education and the government.
