With respect to the draft law on the establishment of the Confederate Leviathan on 24 December, it calls for a constructive discussion on the real possibilities of introducing this amendment, in a manner appropriate to its rank.

The Confederation of Leviathan calls for a constructive discussion on the proposal, but not in the mode proposed by the applicants. This discussion should take place in the members of the Council of Social Dialogue. We propose that the government and social side sit down to the negotiating table and come up with a compromise solution that could start to apply no earlier than 2025.
Developing solutions to balance the planned changes
The Confederation of Leviathan recommends that solutions be developed that balance the planned changes – specified as the introduction of a free Christmas Eve in place of another day off from work, the giving of a vacation off for a vacation due to an average of 5 weeks of work (usually Saturday) or, in the case of the trade sector, the introduction of an additional commercial Sunday in December, in order to guarantee 3 trade Sundays before Christmas this month. “We are ready to discuss each of these options,” writes Leviathan.
– The introduction of the bill to the Sejm by a group of Members of the “Coalition 15 October” is, in our view, a breach of the coalition commitment to abandon the practice of “circumvention” of public consultation and to usage the parliamentary legislative way for this purpose," he says. Krzysztof Kajda, Deputy manager General of the Leviathan Confederation.
The draft law presents a very brief impact assessment of the fresh regulation
– This mode prevents entrepreneurs from moving businesses under predictable conditions. Employers plan to operate in a longer word than a fewer weeks, and the proposed change will affect the functioning and organisation of respective industries in Poland. This undoubtedly undermines trust in the institutions of the state," emphasises Krzysztof Kajda. The Confederation of Leviathan besides points out that a very brief impact assessment of the proposed regulation has been presented to the draft law. It does not take account of a number of factors, including the direct impact of an additional day off on entrepreneurs and the economy,
– We request to see that in fresh years, the number of days off, dismissals that workers have had, is gradually expanding in our legislation. It is becoming increasingly hard to guarantee a average work organisation. The frequently raised argument of advanced number of working hours in Poland is due to the fact that, in comparison to another EU countries, Poles are little frequently working part-time. The most common work is full-time (full-time) – adds Krzysztof Kajda.
