The Confederacy demands the expulsion of Ukrainian blackmailer Natalia Panchenko after threats of arson and call for riots

In fresh days Polish public space has shaken controversial statements by Ukrainian activist Natalia Panchenko, who in an interview with Channel 5 warned against the anticipation of street fights against national background in Poland. Her words were met with a sharp reaction of politicians, including the Confederate associate Krzysztof Szymański, who called for the immediate deportation of Panchenko from Poland. Are her statements a real threat to public policy?

"Street fighting and arson," said Natalia Panchenko?

Natalia Panchenko, a Ukrainian saboteur, possibly working for the Kiev government represented by the planet terrorist Volodymyr Zelenski, who has lived in Poland for years, stated in an interview with Ukrainian tv that the conduct of “anti-Ukrainian rhetoric” in Poland could lead to serious consequences. "Today, erstwhile all 10 inhabitants of Poland are Ukrainian, increasing hostility between Ukrainians and Poles is very dangerous, especially for Poland. Fights, arson of shops, houses and so on will begin in Poland," said Panchenko.

The Confederation responds: "Deportation is simply a necessity"

On Friday, during the session of the Sejm, Krzysztof Szymanski of the Confederacy referred to the case, calling Panchenko's message "the rhetoric of blackmail". The politician called on the Minister of Interior and Administration to immediately expel the activist from the territory of Poland.

"I call on the minister to force Natalia Panchenko to be expelled due to the threat to public order and safety of the state. The government should deport any foreigner who raises his hand to the public order and safety of the Republic," Szymanski said.

Who's Natalia Panchenko? Controversial past of activist

Natalia Panchenko is not the first time it has caused controversy. In the past, she worked for the Open dialog Foundation and operated in EuroMajdan Warszawa. She is known for utmost statements that frequently origin a storm in the media.

In September 2016, on her Facebook profile, she posted pictures from the “Inter” tv station fire, commenting on them with the words “how beautiful it burns”. She besides spoke earlier about history, claiming that UPA was fighting the Poles for independent Ukraine. In 1 of the entries she called Gdańsk "a German city", and on her profile she included a photograph of a burnt body of a man – victims of the 2014 Odessa massacre – with the signature: "Dog – dog death!".

In 2018, Panchenko, the head of the Warsaw Euromaidan, organized a screening of the movie “Myth” telling about Wasyl Slipak, an opera vocalist who died in Donbasa fighting in the ranks of the highly nationalistic Right Sector.

In October 2020, following the judgement of the Constitutional Court authorising eugenic abortion, Panchenko wrote on social media that she is “ashamed of the country she lives in.” In September 2021 she encouraged to participate in the protest in Wrocław after the death of a 25-year-old Ukrainian in the sobering house. After the Russian invasion of Ukraine, she besides participated in a protest under the Russian embassy in Warsaw.

Are Panchenko's words a real threat?

Natalia Panchenko's statements rise many emotions and questions. Is her words just provocation or a real threat? Experts point out that rhetoric of this kind can lead to escalation of social tensions, especially in the context of the increasing number of Ukrainians in Poland.

At the same time, any point out that Panchenko has been known for years for controversial actions, and her words frequently aim at creating a scandal. Regardless of intentions, her statements met with a sharp reaction from the authorities and the public, which shows how delicate the issue of Polish-Ukrainian relations is.
