More than ever?
These actions respond to the decision of the State Election Commission, which rejected the accounts of the Law and Justice Office. This resulted in the failure of about PLN 10 million. Despite this, the organization regains financial stableness thanks to the generosity of its activists and sympathizers, who shortly after the start of the fundraiser importantly fed the party's budget.
Measures to support the Law and Justice come from voluntary contributions and salaries of MEPs. Parliamentarians from Poland transmit PLN 1,000 and their colleagues from the European Parliament – PLN 5,000 per month.
However, any organization members request that contributions for Euro MPs be increased to PLN 8-10 thousand, arguing that due to higher earnings they should contribute more. However, for the time being, there are rules which require a minimum payment, which is already mentioned.
‘Stop them’
The issue of group contributions is the reason for the interior conflict in the party. The gathering for PiS activities has been sparking mixed emotions among organization members from the beginning. Treasurer Henryk Kowalczyk informed about the gathering of PLN 4 million, but there are voices of opposition to permanent contributions from private MPs.
The position of president is alternatively clear here. Jarosław Kaczyński demanded that all PiS politicians contribute to the party. In turn, Mr Czarnek, referring to Euro MPs, stated:
Nothing stands in the way of Euro MPs paying more. They can afford to pay.
Paweł Kukiz, whose Kukiz’15 movement is besides based on contributions, referred to the issue of contributions to the Law and Justice. He stated that the decision of the PKW to collect the subsidy for the Jarosław Kaczyński organization was not amazing to him due to the fact that “irregularities are present at all election”. erstwhile asked if he was going to support the PiS fundraiser, he definitely replied that he was not, due to the fact that he is not a associate of the PiS.
Morawiecki can gain?
It is estimated that Mateusz Morawiecki can gain the most on the financial problems of the Law and Justice Office caused by the decision of the Polish National safety Agency to reject the financial statements of the party. The erstwhile Prime Minister could be a PiS presidential candidate due to the fact that he "has the means to do so."
Virtual Poland reports that Zbigniew Bogucki, Tobias Bocheński, Karol Nawrocki, Patryk Jaka and Tomasz Szatkowski appeared on the list of possible presidential candidates. Although Morawiecki's name does not appear on the list, an anonymous politician of the Law and Justice organization suggests that his candidacy is possible.
In a conversation with Weekly, an anonymous politician says:
Morawiecki simply has money, so erstwhile the president finds that no 1 else for financial reasons has a chance of winning, he can bet on it, though he will do it very reluctantly.
