On 10 March, writer Sławomir Sierakowski and world-famous historian Timothy Snyder announced the organization of a rally for military ambulances for the Russian-fighting Ukraine. “When others halt helping, we renew it!” Sierakowski said.
"The cost of 1 ambulance, which costs $300,000, is about PLN 1 million in Polish currency. All funds will be transferred to the account of the Ministry of wellness of Ukraine, which will make the purchase," the organisers provided.
On Tuesday, Sierakowski informed with social media that over PLN 1 million had already been raised. “At a rate faster than a collection on Bayraktary,” said the publicist in an interview with Onet.
