According to the latest survey of the investigation firm, the opinion24 shows that 47 percent of respondents intend to vote for Karol Nawrocki and 45 percent for the candidate of KO Rafał Trzaskowski. On TVN24, Prime Minister Donald Tusk stated what could happen on the government-president line if the second circular of the presidential election was won by a candidate supported by the PiS.

The second circular of the presidential election will take place on 1 June. As shown from the latest poll Research firm Opinion24 - carried out on 19, 20 and 21 May - 47 percent of the respondents would vote for the Law and Justice of Karol Nawrocki and 45 percent for the Citizen Coalition candidate Rafał Trzaskowski. 8 percent do not yet know what choice he will make. 62 percent of Poles declared their participation in the second circular of elections.

In the first circular held last Sunday (18 May), Rafał Trzaskowski received 31.36 percent of the votes and Karol Nawrocki received 29.54 percent.

Donald Tusk believes that in the event of a triumph in the election supported by the PiS by Karol Nawrocki, alternatively of a march forward, we are going to have 2.5 years of "baked". "Imagine Poland, in this context rather dramatic, which will again be a state ruled by the government constantly blocked by an envoy Kaczyński. We gotta call it by name-- Mr. Nawrocki hired by Kaczyński to fight the Polish government. They do not hide it" - said the head of the Polish government on Thursday on TVN24.

We're going to have a "dump"

The Prime Minister assessed that in the case of Nawrocki's triumph in the presidential election "We are 2 and a half years ahead of the next parliamentary elections, alternatively of moving forward, alternatively of building solidarity-full safety of Poland, any kind of bulwark".

"I guess you don't gotta start your imagination on purpose, and you don't even gotta ask me how I image these 2 and a half years, due to the fact that it's a choice between war and peace. And I am not talking now about the war in Ukraine, but about what may be waiting for us - again a much more serious version of this political civilian war and the progressive paralysis" - the head of the government said. He added that "these are all deadly threats to Poland erstwhile Russia may be preparing for a deadly attack on Ukraine".

Donald Tusk pointed out that "we must regain the consciousness that accompanied us in October 2023 that this rate is very high." "If this page - let's call it “democratic” - if it is not as mobilized as in October, Rafał Trzaskowski will lose. If it is so mobilized - it will win" - he said.
