The observed J-20 Mighty Dragon fighter carries a full of 8 missiles deployed under 4 suspension points. The existence of these points in the J-20 structure has been known already since photographs of this aircraft appeared with 4 external fuel tanks suspended. The fact that 8 missiles are carried at the outer hanger points is not a large shock. Nor is it that they were paired with missiles, due to the fact that air-to-air missiles (even these large ranges) are comparatively small-scale weapons.
