China blames the US for a deterioration in relations that could lead to confrontation

The head of the Chinese MFA Qin Gang accused on Tuesday of trying to limit China and fuel tensions in bilateral relations. If Washington does not change course, there will be a "conflict and confrontation" which may have "catastrophic consequences" – he warned.
