China announces that they are "ready to fight" to choke Taiwan's independence

The Chinese army, after finishing three-day large-scale maneuvers around Taiwan, reported on Monday that it was "ready to fight". Exercises simulated the blockade of the island and followed a visit by Taiwanese president to the US.
