NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte in an interview with the "New York Times" pointed out China's worrying function in a possible attack on NATO states. "If China's leader Xi Jinping wants to take Taiwan, he will call Russia's leader Vladimir Putin to attack NATO territory and thus divert attention from Beijing's activities," said Rutte quoted by the newspaper.
