The Central registry of Voters is to replace scattered electoral registers, which have so far served to draw up lists of voting Poles. This is besides meant, according to the NRPM, to simplify or destruct "a crucial part of the activities of electoral officials". The draft amendment of the Electoral Code, which provides for the creation of the Central registry of Voters, was addressed for consultation.
