Just 51 days before the beginning of the first ballot booths in the key elections to the European Parliament, the globalist technological giant of the Silicon Valley Meta imposed a ten-year regulation on the Chega website, the 3rd largest organization in Portugal, on Facebook, without giving circumstantial reasons.

Right-wing, sovereign organization – presently having 19.9% in the polls after it secured 50 seats in the national elections last month, compared to 12 in 2022. – defined the social media company's decision as an "unwarranted" act of "harassment" and committed to utilizing all available legal means to argue the restriction.

"Your account is limited for 3,649 days. Your account activity violates our community standards. Therefore, you will not be able to execute 1 or more average activities" – a message sent by Meta to the authoritative Chegi Facebook account – which can boast almost 200,000 followers – on Sunday afternoon.

The restrictions introduced by Meta prevent Cheg from publishing photos, videos, sending messages and another activities, making it unfit for usage as a tool to aid parties scope Portuguese voters in the run-up to the June European elections.

Chegi Leader André Ventura (photo), whose authoritative Facebook account has been blocked since December, told Portuguese net paper Observador that the case had already been reported to Meta and revealed that he intends to bring the case to parliament and “all the judicial authorities until Facebook is convicted”.

The organization promised to launch "the largest action in Portugal's past against Meta".

Ventura accused Mark Zuckerberg, a globalist activist Meta, for gross political censorship, while the party's message calls the arbitrary regulation of the site by a technology company "one of the biggest attacks on freedom of expression on the political organization in Portugal".

"No substance how hard they try, they will not be able to silence us," Chega wrote on X, formerly on Twitter.

"We will not quit until we have overcome the censorship that wants to take distant Portuguese freedom of choice. We are not going to quit Portugal and show Facebook's owners, dominated by left-wing interests, our outrage!"

The Meta hasn't yet provided an explanation for Chegi's account limitations. However, the organization origin told the media that this could be related to the publication of a movie related to the household custody fight, which became the subject of violence.

Chega claims that the movie was besides posted on Facebook by many media whose accounts were not limited, claiming that this would invalidate Meta's restrictions on the organization account.
