Celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising in the Archdiocese of Warsaw

Thursday 1 August marks the 80th anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising. To commemorate this rabble, Warsaw parishes will launch church bells at 5:00 p.m. Bells will be a tribute to the fallen and surviving insurgents and residents of Warsaw who died in the fight for the freedom of the Homeland.
Furthermore, the faithful will pray for the fallen in the Warsaw Uprising during the Mass held on 1 August.

Celebrations with the participation of the Warsaw Metropolitan
Card. Kazimierz Nycz on Thursday 1 August at 5 p.m. will attend the ceremonies at the monument “Gloria Victis” at the Military Cemetery in Powązki.
Thereafter, 6:30 p.m. The Warsaw metropolitan will participate in interreligious prayer and the laying of flowers at the monument of Polegli Niepokonani at the Warsaw Insurrection Cemetery in Wola.
O 8 p.m. Card. Nycz will celebrate the Field Mass at the Warsaw Uprising Cemetery.
Celebrations celebrations of the 80th anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising and commemoration of civilian victims of German crime on the inhabitants of Warsaw Wola in the Church of St. Wojciech, ul. Wolska 76
Wednesday 31 July at 7 a.m. "Save from Forgetfulness" performance .
Among others will be Milena Lange, Kaja Mianowska, Janusz Radek, Mateusz Ziółk and Warsaw Impression Orchestra under the direction of Tamash Labunia. The performance will be led by Laura Connect.
Admission to the performance will be for the presentation of a free invitation, which will be distributed before the church on the day of the performance from 6 p.m.

Sunday, August 4th from 12:00 p.m. walking “In the footsteps of the Wretches” , crossing Streets: Wolska, Działdowska, Płocka and Górczewska.Stopping at memorial sites to pray for the murdered people of Wola And light candles in German crime scenes, and let's quote survivors' accounts.
Gathering under St. Wojciech's Church at 12 noon

Thursday, August 1st at 6 p.m. Solemn Holy Mass in intention for fallen insurgents and murdered residents of Warsaw

Thursday, August 1st at 8:00 p.m. "The Columbuses of All Time".
Gathering in the square before the church, free admission.
