"Everyone knows that a country at war cannot become a NATO member. The most crucial thing, however, is what is the national government's post-war position. (...) Germany is again 1 of NATO countries that does not supply crucial and possible support to Ukraine," said abroad policy expert Norbert Rottgen (CDU) in an RTL/ntv interview. Roettgen accused the German government of deficiency of a clear position on Ukraine.
