According to the final election results in France, the fresh People's Front will have 182 deputies. Macron's coalition won 168 tickets, the Marine Le Pen National Unity and his allies 143. No organization so has an absolute majority in the National Assembly after the parliamentary elections have ended.
That's the electoral verdict. The media found this to be a large defeat of the National Unity, which is not true. If you number the mandates themselves, you might think so, but the percentages obtained by the parties do not translate into the number of seats in France, due to the fact that the deputies are elected in 501 single-mandate constituency, and this distorts the results obtained by the parties across the country. If we take the percentages, it will turn out that the National Unity besides won the second round, winning 36.18% of the vote, while the "winner" left block of 25.18 percent, i.e. 11% less! Macron's block got 21.24 percent and he was the only 1 to gain a lot compared to I tour erstwhile he was a small over 14. In the context of the upcoming presidential elections in France, and this is where absolute votes count, Marine Le Pen is now a determined favorite. That is why the triumphalism of the media, politicians and Donald Tusk is premature, especially since in the current situation France is facing large political problems, but not with Marine Le Pen, but with the left of Jean-Luc Melenchon, who, as Donald Tusk for example has forgotten, has views even "worse" than the National Union.
